Andy Nugent's Academy of Martial Arts is based in Letchworth and offers tuition in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali, MMA, Kickboxing, Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His classes are at Radburn School in Letchworth on Mondays and Thursdays. Private tuition is also available.

Michael Owen is a qualified International Taekwondo Instructor who obtained his IV degree black belt in 2007. Letchworth Taekwondo School was launched in 2003 and offers classes for all abilities.

Gareth Ashby offers Systema classes in Letchworth for self defence and enhanced health and wellbeing. Systema is a Russian martial art used by military experts within the Russian Special Forces.

Rakesh is ranked 5th Dan in Shotokan Karate with NAKMAS and The British Combat Association. Rakesh also holds an Instructor qualification awarded by Iain Abernethy for the instruction of Bunkai and the practical application of Karate. Kata Combat is primarily concerned with the effective application of the techniques and principles found within the mainstream Karate Kata. Rakesh actively studies the many Karate Kata and forms found within the traditional martial arts.
